Even if you must sell your home during these troubled times, it's a bad idea to do it without the help of an experienced realtor. You might panic and lower the price too much.

You don't have the same resources so you can be at a disadvantage when competing with other companies.

With the lower supply of quality homes on the market today, it's getting nearly impossible to do a home sale with a "For Sale by Owner." You need the expertise and know-how of a realtor who has a proven record of success and a reputation that potential buyers will recognize.
